Lot 161 20EP-75 FLINTLOCKS

Pair of high quality flintlock pistols fully decorated with gold damascene work and silver inlaid stocks circa 1780-1820. The pistols are 20 ½” in overall length with 13 ¼” barrels of approximately .67 caliber smoothbore. The pistols show dark patina with a nice “Out of the Attic” look from an old collection. The pistols have European locks and barrels. The damascene locks appear to be Turkish as does the inlay work. One ofthe pistols is missing the false ramrod. Est.: $1,500-$3,000. (Antique).
